I absolutely adore this shop. It's a wonderful place to get delicious bagels and not nearly as crowded as other shops, which is a blessing but they're really good with food options. I can get something really healthy or something sweet. It just depends on the day. The portions are big and 110% worth the price.

David's is really just a metaphor for the entire city - hard-working, fast-paced, and you'll only ever understand 60% of what anyone says to you... on top of producing the best bagels in New York (don't you dare argue with me). The only exception is that it's also run by some of the kindest and most modest people.

One of the top rated bagel shops in NYC this unpretentious local spot is one of my favorites. It’s also part of Bagel Row - a stretch of 1st Ave between 14th and 23rd with four bagel shops and two of the top rated ones.
